AMATEUR SCHEDULING DIRECTOR - PITTSBURGH NORTH

Jason Mirich is responsible to schedule officials for all games for the following organizations:


  • Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (all levels south of I-80)
  • Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex)
  • North Pittsburgh Wildcats (Baierl Ice Complex)
  • Steel City Selects (Baierl Ice Complex)


Jason has been scheduling on-ice officials for High School, College, and Tier I AAA Amateur Associations in the Western Pennsylvania Area for over ten years.


Jason formerly officiated NCAA Division I Men's hockey in College Hockey America (CHA) and Division III hockey in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC).  Jason was also selected to numerous USA Hockey Mid-American District Tournaments, State Playoffs, and National Tournaments.


Jason and his wife Melissa currently reside in McDonald, PA with their daughter, Emerson.

Ed Miller is responsible to schedule officials for all games for the following organizations:


  • Allegheny Badgers (Palmer Imaging Arena)
  • Westmoreland Eagles (Kirk S. Nevin Arena)
  • Johnstown Warriors (Cambria County War Memorial)
  • Altoona Trackers (Galactic Ice)
  • Mid-State Mustangs (Galactic Ice)
  • Mon Valley Thunder (Rostraver Ice Garden)
  • Pittsburgh Vipers / Pittsburgh Viper Stars / Esmark Stars (Pittsburgh Ice Arena)
  • Shady Side Academy (McKnight Hockey Center)
  • The Kiski School (Palmer Imaging Arena)


Ed has officiated amateur, scholastic and collegiate hockey for over twenty years. Ed is also a current staff member of the Pittsburgh Elite Officiating Camps and a member of the USA Hockey Seminar Staff. 

 Ed, his wife Chrissey, and son Edward currently reside in Pittsburgh, PA.

DAVE FRYER

COLLEGIATE SCHEDULING DIRECTOR - PENNSYLVANIA & WEST VIRGINIA

Dave Fryer is responsible to schedule officials for all games for the following organizations for all games in Pennsylvania & West Virginia:


  • College Hockey Mid-America (ACHA Division I)
  • College Hockey East (ACHA Division III)
  • Atlantic Coast Collegiate Hockey League (ACHA Division II)


Dave has previously worked in an administrative role with other local amateur, scholastic, and collegiate hockey leagues - as well as multiple officiating organizations. Dave has been a USA Hockey official for over twenty years and has instructed at many USA Hockey Camps and District Officiating Seminars. 


Dave currently resides in Oakdake, PA.

DONALD LEWIS

COLLEGIATE SCHEDULING DIRECTOR - OHIO

As the PIHO Scheduling Director - Ohio, Don Lewis is responsible to schedule game officials for all ACHA games and in which PIHO services throughout the state of Ohio. This includes:


  • John Carroll University (College Hockey Mid-America)
  • Case Western University (College Hockey East)
  • Kent State University (CHMA & CHE)


Don has been assigning officials for collegiate, high school, and youth hockey in the Northeast Ohio area for over 15 years and has been an on-ice official at those same levels for over 20 years. 

Additionally, Don has been a USA Hockey Mid-American District Seminar Instructor for nearly two decades. 

 Don, his wife Lisa, and their son Brendan currently reside in the Cleveland, OH area.

AMATEUR SCHEUDLING DIRECTOR - ERIE

C.J. Oleski is responsible to schedule officials for all games for the following organizations:

  • Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (all levels north of I-80)
  • Crawford County Flames (Meadville Area Recreation Center)

C.J. officiates College Club, high school, Erie Otters Training Camp games as well as all youth levels. Additionally, he is an off-ice official for the Ontario Hockey League for all Erie Otters home games.

C.J. currently resides in Erie, PA.
