ZACH ROBERTS
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
As PIHO Executive Director, Zach Roberts' responsibilities include general oversight, supervision and evaluation of the overall operation of the Organization and the performance of all its Directors.
Zach currently officiates professional hockey in the American Hockey League and the ECHL. He has been selected to officiate multiple AHL Calder Cup Playoffs series, numerous ECHL Kelly Cup Playoff series and the 2017 CCM ECHL All-Star Classic.
Zach also currently officiates NCAA Division I Men's hockey in the Big Ten. He has previously worked in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA), Atlantic Hockey, College Hockey America and the ECAC.
In addition to his collegiate and professional hockey officiating experience, Zach was also a previous member of USA Hockey's Officiating Development Program (ODP), working multiple USA Hockey Junior National Championships. During his time with the ODP, Zach was selected to attend USA Hockey's Regional and National Officiating Development Camps.
Zach is also a supervisor for USA Hockey's Officiating Development Program, supervising officials in leagues such as the NA3HL, NAHL and USHL.
Additionally, Zach is a member of the USA Hockey Officiating Program Instruction Staff and has instructed and presented at numerous Mid-Am District seminars and Regional Development Camps
Zach is a native of the Pittsburgh, PA area. He attended Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School and earned his Bachelor's & Master's Degrees in Business Administration from South University.
Zach and his wife Jaime reside in Irwin, PA with their son, Connor, and daughters, Riley and Reagan.
RAY KING
OFFICIATING OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
As the PIHO Officiating Operations Director, Ray King is responsible to be the main contact for PIHO Game Officials when a Game Report is necessary and filed, to be the main contact for PIHO clients to address any concerns - with PIHO Officials or any in-game situations involving PIHO officials, and is the representative for any hearings for USA Hockey concerning supplemental discipline.
Ray previously officiated professional hockey in the American Hockey League and ECHL for worked 18 seasons. Ray currently officiates NCAA Division I hockey in the Big Ten and junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League. He has previously worked in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA), College Hockey America, Atlantic Hockey and the ECAC.
Ray is also the current USA Hockey Mid-American District State Director of Officials for Western Pennsylvania. He is also a Director at the the Pittsburgh Elite Officiating Camps (PEOC), a hockey officiating program for developing and advancing aspiring officials.
Ray and his wife Nora currently reside in Erie, PA.
JASON MIRICH
SCHEDULING DIRECTOR
As the PIHO Scheduling Director, Jason Mirich is responsible to schedule game officials, and supervisors as necessary, for all PIHO-scheduled games & events. He is also responsible to update & maintain the scheduling system.
Jason has been scheduling on-ice officials for High School, College, and Tier I AAA Amateur Associations in the Western Pennsylvania Area for over five years.
Jason formerly officiated NCAA Division I Men's hockey in College Hockey America (CHA) and Division III hockey in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC). Jason was also selected to numerous USA Hockey Mid-American District Tournaments, State Playoffs, and National Tournaments.
Jason and his wife Melissa currently reside in McDonald, PA with their daughter, Emerson.
CHADD COLIN
OFFICIATING PERSONNEL DIRECTOR
As the PIHO Officiating Personnel Director, Chadd Colin is responsible for new PIHO member creation & current member retention, conduct presentations at events to promote PIHO, coordinate and manage all feedback to the Organization from PIHO officials, and to coordinate & maintain a platform for all Pennsylvania State Clearance Records for all PIHO Officials.
Chadd currently officiates NCAA hockey in the ECAC as well as ACHA and Tier I amateur hockey. His prior officiating experience includes USA Hockey District Tournaments in both the Mid-American and Atlantic Districts. He has also officiated Junior hockey in the CHA, EJHL, IJHL, and UJHL. At the National level, he has officiated the 2013 USA Hockey Tier I National Championships, the 2015 Penguin Cup Finals, and the 2015 Pittsburgh Penguins NHL Rookie Camp.
He and his wife, Robin, currently reside in Wexford, PA with their son, Owen, and daughter Clare.
FRANK BASTONE
OFFICIATING DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
As PIHO Officiating Development Director, Frank Bastone's responsibilities include maintaining the PIHO online evaluation system, directing of a roster of qualified Officiating Managers and Officiating Development Coaches, ensure weekly evaluation quotas are met, being the point of contact for PIHO officials who seek an evaluation, and presenting at events to promote PIHO.
Frank currently officiates in the USA Hockey’s Officiating Development Program (ODP) as a linesman. He also officiates collegiate hockey in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference of the NCAA.
In 2013, Frank became a USA Hockey Seminar Instructor following his attendance at the Eastern Instructors Seminar in Lake Placid, NY. At this camp, Frank earned the Milt Kaufman Award - given to the official who most exemplifies hard work and dedication to officiating.
Frank and his wife, Missy, reside in Leechburg, PA.

As the PIHO Scheduling Coordinator - Ohio, Don Lewis is responsible to schedule game officials, and supervisors as necessary, for all games and events in which PIHO services throughout the state of Ohio.

OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
SCHEDULING COORDINATOR - PITTSBURGH EAST
As the PIHO Operations Coordinator, Ed Miller is responsible to confirm game schedules with all PIHO's clients to maintain consistent accuracy throughout each week of the hockey season across the tri-state area.
As PIHO Scheduling Coordinator - East, Ed is responsible to assign officials to PAHL & Tier I games at Pittsburgh Ice Arena (Valley), Center Ice Arena (Delmont), the Cambria County War Memorial (Johnstown) and Galactic Ice (Altoona).
